Kind Words for Kids – Free PL/EN Affirmation Cards to Print
Children learn about the world every single day.
They learn new words, emotions, relationships and how to see themselves. Sometimes one simple sentence can give them more than we realise.
You are important.
I believe in you.
You are loved.
They are short phrases, but for a young child they can mean something truly significant.
That’s why I created a free set of “Kind Words for Kids” — Polish-English affirmation cards to print at home.
What’s included?
The set includes colourful cards with gentle, encouraging phrases in two languages:
🇵🇱 Polish
🇬🇧 English
Each card has a different theme and a different little character:
• For the Explorer
• For the Dreamer
• For the Brave Little Heart
• For the Kind Little Heart
• For the Little Artist
• For the Sensitive Little Heart
• For Every Child
These are not complicated exercises.
They are calm, simple cards that you can read together with your child, repeat during play, display on the wall or keep with your learning materials at home.
Why are kind words so important for children?
Children build their sense of self from the messages they hear most often.
When they hear:
You can do it.
Your feelings are important.
You can try again.
they learn that they are accepted, valued and enough.
It’s not about creating big lessons every day.
It’s not about pressure.
It’s not about perfect parenting.
It’s about small moments of connection.
One sentence while giving your child a cuddle.
A few words before bedtime.
Reading a card together after breakfast.
A gentle reminder: “You are loved just as you are.”
How can you use the affirmation cards?
You can use them in very simple ways:
• read one card in the morning,
• choose a favourite phrase of the day together,
• repeat the phrase in Polish and English,
• talk about what the sentence means,
• display a card in your child’s room,
• use it as part of a calm bedtime routine.
For example:
Jesteś odważny.
You are brave.
You could ask your child:
“Kiedy dziś byłeś odważny?”
“When were you brave today?”
These short conversations can help children not only learn language, but also understand themselves better.
Two languages. One heart.
At LingoMini, we believe language learning can be gentle, calm and natural.
Children don’t need to sit at a desk to learn new words. They can discover language through songs, rhythm, everyday moments, play and connection with a parent or caregiver.
That is exactly what inspired these cards.
To support children.
To help build their confidence.
To introduce English naturally.
To let Polish and English exist side by side — gently and without pressure.

Print them at home, laminate them, or simply use them as colourful pages to read together.
Let these little words become an everyday reminder for your child:
You are loved.
You are important.
You are enough.
